Point Source and Line Array Audio Systems

A point source audio system is when a single speaker, or multiple speakers are used to broadcast the full sound range from a single point. The sound radiates out in a circular pattern and has a range that makes point source ideal for smaller venues or situations where the audience is clustered close to the stage. For larger events, line arrays are taller arrangements of speakers stacked one on top of another or flown to produce booming, full-frequency sounds. Band Rider Support

If you wish to engage a musical act for your event, you are likely going to encounter a "rider." This is a list of requirements and conditions the performers have that need to be met. Riders are most commonly associated with various hospitality requests, but they also contain important technical details since the performers may have specific needs like stage size, audio and lighting arrangements, that are integral to their performance. bb Blanc is experienced at fulfilling the most demanding riders and will ensure that the needs of all live performers are met.

Microphones and Mixers

Whether it’s one speaker, a panel discussion or a live performance, the choice of microphones and audio equipment can make or break the sound quality. A modern keynote presentation may include not only the speaker’s voice, but also videos, music and PowerPoint audio. The conference room look amazingly professional. And, the Carnival Room was looked incredible – hats off to Ted. Both rooms truly provided attendees with the “wow factor” upon entering.

    Shout out Taz for quick response and contingency when the keynote presenter’s laptop froze. Matt also jumped into action communicating with the presenter so she knew when to keep going and when to go back to presentation mode. And, of course, Justin as the rock keeping everything together.

    In the past year we have worked with BB Blanc for some small (30-50 people) as well as for bigger event (350 +) and in all cases everything went perfect and smooth.

    LOVE HER 2016 was quite the adventure for our team and everyone involved. We faced many challenges along the way. At the heart of it all was a charity that needed to raise important funds and also increase awareness about ovarian cancer. We needed to tell a story and create an energy that got people talking (and bidding). Every element was carefully chosen to make that happen.
